Cue second-screen interactionSports

Wherever the game goes,
fans call the play.

Point Media Tech's Cue lets sports-channel viewers guess the result of each at-bat, vote for players and buy home-team gear on their phones while they watch. Cards appear as the game unfolds, and no answer is revealed before the viewer's own TV shows it.

Fans' phones are always in hand,
but revenue waits for the break.

Revenue is concentrated in inning breaksAds only run between half-innings and during stoppages, so the tensest moments earn nothing, and the breaks are when fans reach for their phones.
The phone spoils the resultFortune reports that streaming services often run about 15–60 seconds behind live TV. When score alerts and social feeds reveal the result first, fans have one less reason to keep watching.
Team gear waits for the final outFans who see the whole crowd waving cheer towels have to note a URL and wait for the game to end. By then the moment has passed.

Every at-bat gives
fans something to do.

Fewer, better-timed cards: a glance during play, and anything that needs input waits for the inning break or a stoppage.

  • Guess the at-bat

Hit, home run, walk or out: fans answer before the at-bat begins, and the answer is revealed together with their own TV.

  • Vote for players

Player of the game and best play open for voting during the match, with results revealed on the broadcast.

  • Buy home-team gear

Cheer towels and jerseys the crowd is waving appear on the phone the moment they are on screen, ready to buy.

  • Save great plays

Fans save great plays and replay them after the game, which gives them a reason to watch to the end.

The game's momentum,
turned into revenue every inning.

Revenue follows the game, not just the inning-break ads. The back office shows the interaction and revenue each inning and each card brings in.

Team merchandiseWhatever is on screen can be bought on the phone. Channels without their own storefront can send fans to the team's existing store and track every sale.
Title sponsorship"This inning brought to you by" sponsor cards appear at the right moments, with interactive content and performance reporting.
Sponsored interactionsGuess and vote cards can carry a sponsor's name, with participation and results visible.
Fan eventsMeet-and-greets, home-game events and cheer activities take sign-ups on the phone, and the list returns to the channel with fans' consent.

Frequently asked questions.

Can the answer to a guess appear before the TV shows it?

No. Cue releases each card according to the viewer's own TV, so results and answers never appear before that TV shows them.

How do fans join?

They scan the QR code in the channel's promotions, or join from the channel's LINE Official Account. Cue opens in the phone browser, with no app to download.

Will fans look at their phones and miss the game?

No. During play they see only cards they can read at a glance; anything that needs a purchase or a form waits for the inning break or a stoppage.
